Slathered Ribs

  • Prep Time: 5 mins + 4 hours marinating time.
  • Cook Time: 1 hour 40 mins

  • 1 tbsp

    Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp

    Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp

  • 1 tsp

  • 1 tsp

  • 1 cup

    BBQ Sauce
  • 2 racks

    baby back pork ribs, trimmed


  1. Stir together dry ingredients and rub over both sides of ribs.

  2. Wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

  3. Preheat grill to medium.

  4. Wrap each rack of ribs in foil, sealing edges tightly.

  5. Turn off one burner and place ribs over it.

  6. Cook over indirect heat, covered for 1.5 to 2 hours or until fork-tender.

  7. Remove from grill.

  8. Heat grill to medium-high heat; grease grates well.

  9. Remove ribs from foil and baste with sauce.

  10. Grill for 10 minutes or until slightly charred and sauce is caramelized, turning once.
